The LaCaille Name
The LaCaille Group takes its name from La Caille On The Bow Restaurant which had become known as one of Calgary's most respected Fine Dining Establishments since it was acquired in 1985. Located in the heart of beautiful downtown Calgary and overlooking the scenic Bow River and Prince's Island Park, LaCaille Restaurant has hosted numerous special events and occasions over its 20 year history.
Since then, the LaCaille Group has expanded its focus and has developed various residential and commercial projects that include both wood-frame and concrete structures as well as the LaCaille Parkade, an underground structure which was completed in 2003.
A New Standard for Downtown Living
In 1999, the luxury residential high-rise tower, Chateau LaCaille, was completed. This 18-storey landmark building instigated a boom in high-rise developments within the central core and a shift from suburban to downtown lifestyle in Calgary. In 2004, Chateau LaCaille's neighbor, LaCaille Parke Place was completed, an elegant 14-storey tower featuring a unique design and classic LaCaille quality. In 2008, Five West an exciting addition to Calgary's Skyline and a new standard for Calgary downtown condominiums was completed.
Boutique Commercial
The LaCaille Group's commercial sites include Signature Parke Plaza and West Market Square which offer a unique blend of shops and services that cater to the communities of West Calgary. Additionally, a variety of boutique shops enhance the base of all LaCaille Residential Towers and serve the growing downtown residential community.
